Cherry drum table, octagonal, France around 1830
Exceptional octagonal cherry wood drum cabinet, France around 1830. The drum table was made of solid cherry wood, the incorporated band inlays are very rare and indicate a certain Biedermeier influence, in the upper part of the drum table there is a drawer with a small brass button, the one underneath Door opens with an oval brass knob. A secret compartment was hidden in the foot part with an invisible door (currently no locking mechanism).
