The Empire desk, made in France around 1805, mahogany on oak veneer offers a highly elegant look. The sides and the large writing surface are covered in leather and the back is just as beautifully decorated as the front. A highlight are the magnificent, gilded key plates and the bronze ends of the legs.

The desk is in good condition, but it has not been refurbished and the leather panels are older, the desk is polished with shellac at the customer's request and gets a new leather panel (various color options are available). The price includes a new restoration and leather panel.
