This magnificent Louis XV armchair from the second half of the 18th century embodies French elegance and master craftsmanship to perfection. An exceptional piece of furniture with historical significance that bears the original stamp of the renowned master carpenter LC Carpentier , who obtained his master title on July 26, 1752.
Known for his exquisite work commissioned by the duc Philippe d'Orléans , LC Carpentier made furniture for some of France's most important residences, including the Palais Bourbon and the Château de Chantilly . His distinctive style combines curved lines, elaborate carvings and a harmonious proportion typical of the Louis XV era.
